Windflight nodded. "Good. Go get some rest in your den. I'd have you in the medicine den but it's already crowded in there."

"Of course." Ravenstar got up and moved to his den.

Ashkit and Fernkit were stumbling around. Fernkit blinked up at Icekit. "Hi!"

"Hi." Icekit meowed back.

"I'm Fernkit!" She meowed. "And that's Ashkit! He's my brother."

"I'm Icekit."

"Nice to meet you!" She meowed cheerfully.

"I'm gonna be medicine cat!" Icekit meowed proudly.

"Wow!" She mewed. Ashkit was equally impressed. "That's so great!"

"Yes, i'll heal you guys when you're hurt or sick!"

Ashkit nodded. "That's an important job. I'm gonna be a warrior, the best there is!"

Windflight sighed, out of breath. With no apprentice to help her, she was exhausted. The battle with Jayclan hadn't ended without wounds. -
