Blizzardstorm began to back away until he bumped into a tree. He stopped there, and sat down, eyes showing no emotion.

Skypaw slowly stood, her small body swaying with the effort. "You killed him...YOU KILLED HIM!" She screamed, furious tears racing each other downwards.

Blizzardstorm's heart shattered. He was lost, broken, destroyed, defeated. He laid down with his head in his paws, his eyes pale.

Nightwing, who had also been waking, stumbled upon the two. She raced back to camp, yowling. "Ravenstar! Ravenstar, come quick!"

Not caring about whether or not he was blamed, Blizzardstorm stayed where he was.

"What is it!?"

"I don't know! Skypaw! And Blizzardstorm! Come on!" She meowed, leading him to the clearing. Skypaw was laying over Jaggedpaw's body, muttering and crying.

Ravenstar followed, and kept quiet when he saw the body.

Blizzardstorm ignored them. They didn't matter. Life didn't matter. He wished he could die, but Starclan would just send him back.

Nightwing looked at Ravenstar. "Should we bring them back to camp?"

Blizzardstorm gazed ahead, unseeing. Blizzard was trying to take the opportunity to take control of him, but it didn't work. Blizzardstorm fought him off.

Nightwing lifted Blizzardstorm onto her back, then Skypaw she took them back to camp. By the time they had gotten there, Skypaw had recovered from her initial shock. "Why did you do it?! I thought you cared about me! I thought...I thought I cared about YOU! I can't believe you would do this to me! To him! Why?!"

Blizzardstorm was as good as fully deaf to her.
