"Give the she-cat the same punishment. But at the other side." Floodeye ordered.
Ravenmoon called all the warriors together. "All of you must find the kits, and get them black." Ravenmoon meowed. -
(How about Riverkit get's rescued, while Blizzard chooses to stay behind, with Floodeye.)
Flood soon arrived at what seemed to be the nursery. He had heard descriptions of Nettlestar, and, when he poked his head in, he could see a she-cat that fitted that description. Ready to kill, the tom sprang inside, and started to make his way to Cavernclan's legendary leader.
Riverkit was carried over to the other end. She didn't struggle, nor do anything else. All she could think of was, Why did Littlekit take the name, or fight so viciously? Does he want to be with these cats? -
Ivykit: "Ma...Mama?" I mew in a tiny, frightened voice. "Where's Riverkit?" I ask quietly.
Windpaw: "I look at Nettlestar, standing by the Nursery. "What now?" I ask quietly. I've always been timid. Riverkit (her brother) would know what to do...
Splashfoot: I limp up to the main tunnel, where a few confused looking cats are milling around. I pad through towards the medicine den. "Softcloud," I call softly. My paw aches from a deep bite from a large gray-blue tom. -
Nettlestar was about to respond to the 2 when a gray shape detached it's self from the walls. It sprang, and landed next to the legendary leader. She gazed up in surprise at Flood, then she went limp as the tom sunk his claws into her neck. He stood triumphantly over her for a second, watching the light fade from her eyes, then he fled into the tunnels, moving so swiftly that no Cavernclan cat could find him.
Nettlestar opened her eyes. She was in Starclan, watching a mirror of herself slowly take a place among the warriors. Knowing that she would soon awake in a new life, she padded over to 2 cats, smaller that most. Riverkit and Littlepaw both dipped their heads to their former leader, and Littlepaw meowed, "Nettlestar, I cannot say much in your time left here in Starclan, but know this; your kits, all of them, are safe. No cats without your blood in them have hurt the kits." All the starry cats started to fade, and soon Nettlestar was opening her eyes, the wound on her neck healed.
(I feel bad for the kits; one horror after another. Being kitnapped, or seeing your mother loose one of her lives in front of you.) -
Ivykit: "Nettlestar!" I scream. My ears flatten an I rush up to her. "Mama wake up!"
Windpaw: "Nettlestar, no!" I screech. But it's too late. She falls, and everything seems to slow down.
Darksong: I soundlessly gape as Flood takes Nattlestar down single-pawed. Our leader doesn't get up. -
(I feel bad now... But at least I kept my word. :/ )
Nettlestar got up, swaying. Her voice shook as she meowed to her frightened kit, "Now, Ivykit... That's what happens when a clan leader looses a life." She got steadier on her paws, then went over to comfort her kit. -
Leaffrost had protectively curled her tail around her remaining kits. "Nettlestar..." She meowed, still in shock. "How many lives have you got left?"
-
Nettlestar meowed, "Many. This is only my 2nd life."
-
(Want to chat?)
"That's good." She looked at her kits and pushed them closer to her with her tail. "Mommy i want to play!" Whitekit mewed. "I know you do, but..." She stopped. And looked at Nettlestar. Thunderclaw walked in. "What's all the ruckus! He snarled, as Flood had passed through another tunnel. -
(Sure!)
Nettlestar paid no attention to her warrior. All she wanted to do was protect her remaining kit, and hope the others come home. -
(I have an Idea! Floodeye could send Blizzard back to be a spy!)
-
(Bump)
-
(anyone?)
-
(It sounds good! Sorry for poofing 3:)
"Well?" Thunderclaw growled. Leaffrost looked up. "Nettlestar was attacked by Flood." She meowed. Thunderclaw's eyes widened. "What! Why didn't you tell anyone!" Leaffrost didn't reply. Thunderclaw ran to Ravenmoon. "Flood attacked Nettlestar! He is on the loose!" Ravenmoon called some warriors together and told them to find and return him.
Floodeye walked up to Blizzard. "Hey kit. I want you to go back to your family, in exchange for telling us what they are planning to do. Interested?" He grumbled. -
Blizzard hesitated for a second, then nodded. What harm could that be?
Oakstripe was still scanning all of the tunnels, looking for Flood. He had just checked his tunnel, and he wasn't there. And his scent was gone due to all the other rouge scents.
Riverkit strained her ears to the max limit to hear what her brother and that other cat were saying. She could tell they strange cats were up to no good, but that was all she could tell. When Littlekit, or, as the rouge leader called him, Blizzard nodded, she tried to convince herself that the tom was just asking a question. All she hoped for was that he didn't tell him all the truth.
