Smiling, Floodheart led the way to a side tunnel.

The dappled she cat happily followed.

He adjusted his pace so he was next to her. "So... "

She glanced at him with a grin. "I'll bet I can catch more prey than you."

"No way! " He meowed back.

"Yes way!" She retorted, flashing a grin before bounding off in search of prey.

Floodheart bounded off in another direct, determined to get more prey.

In a short time she'd got a pair of tunnel voles, and she was searching for more.
