The black tom lifted his head to look at his youngest daughter. "Ravenpaw?"

Ravenpaw padded into the den, grinning slightly.

Ivystar sat up and looked at her. "Is Firepaw back too? I was worried."

Ravenpaw chuckled softly. "Yeah, though it took a lot of convincing."

Ivystar blinked. "Convincing?"

"She really didn't want to leave the twolegsplace ."

He eyes Ravenpaw curiously. "That doesn't sound like Firepaw."

Ravenpaw shrugged. "There was another kittypet who was in the same nest as us. I guess she got friendly with her."

Ivystar frowned slightly. "I'll have to talk to her." He narrowed his eyes slightly. "Now why don't you tell me who's outside my den."
Jacob gulped. Ivystar must be talking about him... -
Ravenpaw tried to think of a convincing liie. Not able to come up with one, she meowed, "What did you say?"

Ivystar's gaze drifted to the golden bell and collar around Ravenpaw's neck before he looked back up at her. "I said, who's outside my den. Their scent is on your fur a bit too." He added, looking skeptical.

"Oh, I, uh..." Ravenpaw was panicking.
(This is me every time I try to lie.) -
XD I thought you'd be good at lying for some reason..)
"Whoever you are, come in." Ivystar barked loudly. Jacob swallowed anxiously and slunk into the den. Ivystar looked expectantly at Ravenpaw. "Explain." -
If nobody questions the lie, I am. But whenever they ask even the simplest question, I just can't answer it with a halfway realistic answer.)
Grimacing slightly, Ravenpaw started to explain in the most simplistic way possible. -
Oh. For me it's the other way around. Coming up with a story is a bit hard, but after I've got a base lie it's easy to keep up.)
Ivystar sat down to listen. Jacob sat next to Ravenpaw.
