Mumbling something, David got up and opened the door.
Ravenpaw smiled slightly, "You know what? You're not as bad as I thought. " -
Jacob grinned. "Well thank you. You're not so bad either, for a cat with couch-phobia."
Firepaw darted into the house. -
Ravenpaw stuck her tongue out at Jacob.
David closed the door behind her, returning to the couch. -
Jacob laughed, but stopped when a ginger tabby appeared in the doorway.

Ravenpaw was laughing as well. When Jacob stopped, she stopped laughing and followed his gaze. Her eyes narrowed somewhat at Firepaw.

Firepaw sighed and looked at Ravenpaw disapprovingly. Jacob studied the tabby carefully; she didn't look a bit like Ravenpaw.

Ravenpaw glared slightly at Firepaw. She huffed slightly, wishing Firepaw had just gone back to the clan.

"We're getting out of here." She said simply. "There's an open window in the other room. Say good bye to your friend."

Ravenpaw glanced between Jacob and Firepaw. Could I...? No, but maybe... Yes! Wait, what about... then no! Or maybe yes...

The tabby twitched her tail irritably. "Come on."

"I... no, yes... maybe..." Ravenpaw couldn't make a coherent thought, let alone a sentence.

Jacob and Firepaw both gave her a strange look. "Let's go."

Sighing, Ravenpaw stood up and jumped off the couch.

Jacob jumped off and padded after her. "Do you really have to go?" "Yes, she does. But feel free to join her." He blinked. "Really?" Firepaw started towards the open window. "Sure. That's just what the clan needs, another weak kittypet." She jumped onto the windowsill.

"Firepaw, I swear..." The rest of her threat was lost as she leaped up onto the windowsill with her sister.
