"That's no excuse. Ugh, when I get in there you're both dead!" She spat. Jacob chuckled nervously.

Ravenpaw rolled her eyes. "Good Luck!" She meowed sarcastically.

"Firepaw made an irritated noise and sat down to wait.

Ravenpaw sighed. "When we were younger, she was really different. You could actually talk to her without arguing!"

Outside the door, Firepaw frowned slightly, listening carefully.
"Different? How?" Jacob asked. -
"For one thing, she actually listened to what you had to say. And she wasn't so grumpy. "

He shrugged. "Has she had a hard past? That usually makes a cat pretty ill-tempered later." The tom grinned. "I knew a few cats like her."

"Well, there were a few... incidents..."

"Incidents?" He asked, tilting his head.
Firepaw raised her head, curious as to what Ravenpaw would tell him. -
"Well, we live in these groups called clans, and we were fighting one of the other clans, but she got really hurt during the fight."

"I was fine..." Firepaw muttered to herself quietly. She hated sounding weak in front of anyone.
"What else?" He asked eagerly. This was more interesting than anything else that had happened to him during his time with David. -
"Well, not too long after that, we had another fight with that clan, and one cat reopened her wound. It... it was bad. But she'd never admit it."

"Is that all? I never thought a few injuries could make one cat so grumpy."
Firepaw lowered her ears slightly, glad they couldn't see.
