Okay. Let's say that we live together. One day I come home. I've had a horrible day and my temper' stunning thin. I've made it clear to you that I'm upset and that I don't want to be bothered, yet you approach me anyway. I lash out and hit you. Later, I've calmed down. I go to you and hug you and cry and apologize sincerely. Wouldn't you forgive me?)

If you did it once, then yes. Twice, yes. But if you continued to do it, again and again, then I'd slowly stop forgiving you. I'd still love you as much as I do now, but I'd stop forgiving. I've never been good with forgive and forget.

Exactly. When you love someone enough, you'll let them treat you however they want, because you're still in love with the person they were. And deep down you know they still are that person.)
