Crowfrost stared at the apprentice in shock.
Firepaw tackled the white she cat to the ground and hissed at her. They began tumbling around, slashing and yowling at each other furiously. -
Dogstar felt himself return to his body, yet he did not move nor even breath. He was waiting to see if Sandstone was gone.
Bearpaw gave her a nervous smile before melding back into the battlefield. -
The golden tabby was watching Dogstar carefully, waiting to see if he would get up again.
Crowfrost watched him with wide eyes, before turning back to battle.
Firepaw left the she cat unconscious. She didn't have the nerve to kill her. -
Dogstar felt his chest yell for air. He had to breathe. He took a deep breath, followed by loud coughing.
Bearpaw was looking for a cat to fight(anyone you want to get a few scars?). -
Sandstone jumped, her eyes narrowing. Her claws sprang out, but she hesitated. Maybe he would listen to reason.
(Hmm...Firepaw? Nah, Bearpaw wouldn't beat her up...would he? Uh...maybe Skyheart?) -
If he was forced to he might give her some small scratches that give the illusion of being bad. And Skyheart is immortal and cannot be hurt in any way shape or form.)
Dogstar gazed up at her. He hated being in a position where he wasn't In power. -
Then let's force him!)
There was an unusual desperation in her eyes. Perhaps it was the intensity of the battle. Perhaps it was that she was tired of watching cats die. Perhaps it was that she finally had someone to protect. "Please," Her voice was stern, but an underlying worry could be heard. "Just give up." -
Bearpaw heard an older Sunclan warrior approach him. He pointed out a familiar she cat, telling him that he could beat her in a couple of swipes. Bearpaw hesitated a second too long, and the warrior shoved him forward with his muzzle. Hating what he had to do, the tom started for his crush.
Dogstar could still feel the burning around his throat when Sandstone had bitten him there. He didn't want to feel that again. -
Sandstone glared emotionlessly down at him. "This is what you to die for?" She asked. "Stealing homes? Killing?"
Firepaw was breathing heavily, her neck bleeding -
The tom winced at the way she said it. "It's not... like that..."
Bearpaw hated himself for what he was about to do. With his mind protesting his actions, the gray tom leapt for Firepaw, claws unsheathed. -
"Then what is it like?" She asked, a hint of emotion creeping into her voice. She forced it down.
Firepaw's eyes widened. She tried to back away, but hit the cavern's wall and was knocked to the ground by a silver blue. Her eyes refocused on familiar yellow eyes...
