He says sorry, but does it again. He's not sorry. Sorry is when you force yourself to not do it again. Or at least try to. If he sahys he's sorry, then he has to at least try to not do it again. If not, it's an empty promise made by a man full of them.

As I said, it's sort of like Battered Wife Syndrome in a way. A woman gets beaten all day from her husband but couldn't leave him because he might of said things like 'I'm sorry.' or 'it'll never happen again.' And because they love them. One day, this honestly could escalate to the point that's death.
This woman, she was in a marriage for 50 years. All those 50 years, she was beaten by her husband. 50 years of being hurt by someone that supposedly loves you. One day she was stabbed to death. Just because she refused to cook something for her.
A couple months ago my dad told my brother and I that our aunt died. We didn't know her since we were really young when meeting her. Anyway, the reason of how she died was, her husband. The one that's been beating her, finally stabbed her 15 times and killed her. Although I didn't know this woman, it was still hard for me and such because of how it effected everyone else. Like my mom, and my cousin(who was her daughter).
What I'm saying is, do something before your life is at stake. It doesn't matter of who was then, it's about how his now, and how you're basically a f---ing.. punching bag. He hurts you now. You NEED to do something. -
He is sorry though, he is ...he wouldn't kill me anyway. Getting hit a few times isn't gonna kill me. He's never picked up a knife or anything.

Everyone, I really do appreciate you trying to help me, and I know you think I should do something, but I've explained why I won't, why I can't. I know you care and that you're trying to help me, but I know what I can handle. Im fine, I will continue to be fine. A few bruises never killed anyone.

akuta matata. the past is the past. you cant change it. but try going to therapy to help solve this issue. and both you AND your dad should go. this needs to stop. oh, and fyi, i do wear a jacket in hot weather. not because im hiding bruises, but because i like wearing jackets. )
