Nightwing nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

Will nodded. He started for the first house.

"To give them to other twolegs."

"Why wouldn't they want to keep the kits, though?"

Nightwing followed, wrinkling her nose at the unwelcome scent of twoleg chemicals and dog hair.

"They're a lot to care for i think."

Ash nodded. "Our owners do love animals, but I think three cats is enough for them. They'll probably take the kittens to the bet, or just sell them from here."

Will leapt up to the windowsill of the first house, and meowed loudly, "HEY! Frank, you in there?"
"But they aren't hard to care for!" -
"Oakstripe, twolegs' logic isn't to be understood."

Ash chuckled. "It's certainly not."

There was no reply from inside the nest. "Guess he's not home."
Oakstripe looked solem. "Is there anything we can do?" -
"Should we move on then?" Nightwing asked.
Puzzle bounded over. "Do about what?" -
"Nothing." Plum answered.

Puzzle frowned, but was soon distracted by a stray strong on the carpet.
