Thread Topic: Ever wondered what God looks like?

I think he looks like one of those Chinese dudes that are addicted to Opium.
-
lol it is said that we are made in his image so I guess I see him as human but with no race.
Although I'd rather imagine him as something you experience spiritually and can't really see, or like a fog. -
tongue NewbieYet another argument for God's nonexistance. God cannot be graven in ALL of our images because there are so many different races. So if God were real, he'd be racist, in which case I'd worship Satan instead, or be Jewish, because God would almost certainly be Jewish.
-
Something amazing
-
A man in his 60's with a white fluffy bread and in white clothes with old sandals. Not being racist, i just think he's white
-
@tongue IF "god" existed and could not be all races, then whatever race he is does not make him a bigot anymore then you. IF "god" could not be all races then its hardly his fault for being born what ge is.
as to what "god" looks like, given the qauntam attraction theorie god looks and acts EXACTLY how you expect him to. as does everything in your reality -
oh yea in addition my first argument IF "god" existed then um lol whats to stop him from being all races? we are talking about a being with such extended ability thats it's taken the human race, thousands upon thousands of years just to get this far in grasping the CONCEPT of god. IF "god" existed, what stops him from all races?
-
I hate to say it but I've also always pictured him as white with a long white beard and white dreadlocks xD, or whatever you'd call them. The curly white hair, is what I'm trying to say. And he's tall and kind of chubby but in a good way :) He's always wearing a long white robe with a gold belt on it and brown sandals. But I like the idea of him being all races: he could be.
Idk, that's what I've always pictured God as. -
tongue NewbieOkay, well played. How about this- let's say we AREN'T God's creation. He created the first lifeform that over billions of years became humanity. God is like no species on Earth- he's some sentaur or lizard or something.
God couldn't be human- humanity only came to exist 100,000 years ago on a planet that is billions of years old.
IF there is a "God", this is what he would most likely be. -
Here's a good thought, whatever god is and if he's god for everybody then is he really male or female? Maybe he's a hermaphrodite of all races and all species. O.O
-
And lol kaitie when I read your description I kinda thought of Santa Claus xD
-
I dunno,I never really pictured him as an in human form,Just a light that has a voice.Or something.
-
I picture him as a bald black dude.

well in point of fact "god" is a concept. he is unsolid in the way "cold" is unsolid. the idea is that god is all powerful and all knowing, and all loving. there is no way to make that untrue.
so for the sake of argument let's redefine "god" as a being MORE seeing, and MORE powerful then us. and lets put loving on the table for now.
assuming that, it's not unreasonable to say that us, our evolution and our world is an eight year lizard kid's science project.
in our own reality infact we have created computer simulations that- given one to two simple commands will "evolve" with similarity to our own evolution. the question howeever is wether or not these simulations have a (i'm going to say "soul" for the sake of simplicity)
which would raise the question that IF we are all a lizard's science project, then:
1. Are YOU the only person with a "soul" and everybody else simple computer simulations? (run for your bennifet or not)
2. If we all have a "soul" then is every video game character you make the -
unwitting and FULLY awake party to s god-mortal senario?
