Whoops, didn't see that ALMOST in there. You must not be very committed to your faith then are you?

I'm sorry I haven't finished it yet. I'm currently working on it. And don't you dare say that I'm not committed to my faith. I come from an extremely religious family AND have learned about my faith both inside and out of school. I am an altar server at my local church. I am extremely active in my parish's CYO and am currently reading the Bible in order to further grow in my faith. I'm more intelligent than the average Christian, so don't f---ing compare me to the homophobic b----es that you know about. I hate that type of Chritian. I am nothing like them. I actually read an learn about my faith instead of mindlessly following the path others have made. I know more about my faith than some of my past religion teachers, who never actually read any of the CCC. They just went to classes, thinking that the average Christian teachings are correct. So much of what some Christians "preach" about is AGAINST our faith. I know because I have read some of the CCC and the Bible (still working on both). Don't judge an entire group based on a few asses.

Just in case you didn't see it before
Kills by God in the Bible: Around 2 million
Kills by Satan: 10
Seriously, right about now would the time to curl up in a ball and question your sanity. -
I didn't even realize I left out "be" in there.

He killed those people because they were unrighteous. They weren't innocent. If they were innocent they would have been kind, good people, not the unruly people with whom God was dissatisfied. He did save the righteous and the innocent.
-
Based on what you just said I refuse to believe that you have ever even touched a bible.
-
Well, if I'm correct, then you were referring to the story of Noah and the Ark, where God flooded the Earth and saved Noah and his family. If not, please tell me what section of the Bible you are referring to. Also, can you tell me what version and exact religion the Bible you use is from? There are many different different versions within a single religion and there are different books in different Christian religions.
-
He's referring to all of the Bible.

None of the people in the Bible who were killed were innocent, though. Cain killed Abel, so God didn't do that. God sent an angel to save Isaac from Abraham when God told Abraham to kill Isaac to test his faith, so he never killed Isaac. He did kill the first born of every son of the Egyptians, who were using his people as slaves, therefore since they worshipped pagan gods and used slaves they were not innocent. Neither were the Egyptians who were hashing the Jews and trying to recapture them so they could once again be slaves since the pharaoh regretted letting them go, so they weren't innocent. In Noah's Ark, all the people who turned against God and became extreme sinners (much worse than anything could imagine, I'm sure) where killed in the flood and God saved Noah and his family, who the last remaining righteous people on the Earth, along with two of every animal, so those who died weren't innocent.
Would you like me to go on? All people in the Bible that God killed were not innocent. -
"God never kills an innocent."
Tell that to Job's family and servants. -
Butterflykitten NewbieWouldn't killing someone be a sin? I'm not good at this, but does that make god a hypocrite?
