Why does God have to choose people? Thats like favourism. So he is a sinner too but he doesn't get to rot in hell?

I feel weird because I'm Catholic and I haven't read the bible or anything and I'm agreeing with atheists. I don't even know what the ten commandments are or the "Seven deadly sins" or whatever. And I don't listen to Christian music or anything and I only go to church like once or twice a year.

The fact is simply this, if I talk calmly, I get told I'm going to hell and Christians ignore the evidence. If I put you down, insult you and point out how ignorant religion is, I still get told I'm going to hell and Christians ignore the evidence. But they don't forget what I say.
I think you'll find that I can be very calm when I need to be. I've just been dealing with an absurdly large quantity of stupid lately, so my patience is a little thin. Especially by people who come to start something and then try and act like the smug wounded party. -

What I'm trying to explain is really complicated. You have to read the bible thoroughly and understand it properly. It's very hard to explain if you don't know the religion too well either. Don't jump to conclusions just because you think you know it when you really don't. Just leave this topic now and leave before any more fighting.
I'm still considered young in my church, so I don't know all the details like the others do. I just got Confirmed like 3 months ago. So my explanation isn't too good like the others.
Please don't post anything that might be rude, I just get really sick of it. -

And I haven't read the bible, but you are stating things that are confusing. Like how I saw that "God chooses his followers" to me that seemed like we don't get a choice. I'm just pointing out the obvious. If that's what I see, then that's what I see.

I fight religion because it is a cancer in humanity. It teaches us to be content with not understanding things and believing in pretty lies. I fight it because I abhor ignorance. As long as it exists in the state it is now, I will fight it. Whether you ask me not to or not.
