Before what, you get put in the ground or burned to ashes.
-
Worse than that.. You'll spend eternity in hell. Nothing worse than that

Yes

What part of "Atheism" and "not wanting to convert" do you Christians not understand????
-
Whats worse than hell Hikaru?
-
Shanksville
-
A place of complete darkness not a single candle lit, the feeling of complete and total iscolation. The grinding of teeth in pain. Unending and mercilous. Pain by fire. Not just a little burn but being engulfed in flames all day long for ever. Not a million years or a billion but forever. The people crying out for one single drop of water but cannot have any, not ever..
that is what hell is like, the lake of fire. -
Is that what "shanksville" is like?

Just for the record, Kirsteen, Muslims are saying the exact same thing about Christians.
So if a Muslim was saying the same thing to you, would you take them seriously?
I'm an atheist myself, but I have never gotten much crap for it. Then again, I live in a very liberal area. -
Oh dear, Kirsteen I understand that we are supposed to witness to non-believers but seriously using hell into scaring people into believing in God is NOT the way you do it. You're only supposed to inform those about why we believe God is good and the truth and is love. And if someone doesn't agree you accept it and don't change how you believe but at least be tolerant of what someone thinks. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want to believe because we have free will. Just state facts and live and let live.
-
Actually, I sympathize with Kirsteen's position, despite my atheism.
All Christians really believe that atheists are going to be tortured in hell for all eternity, why aren't they more upset about it?
Also, why does hell exist? -
Sorry, bit of a type there. I meant to say
"If all Christians..." -
I agree actually, I don't want anyone to go to hell because I have a love for all humanity. What I believe is hell is attachment from God who loves us and wants what's best for us. And hell is separation from God so basically things that go against us, give us pain or isolation. If you have any questions I'll be glad to help answer best I can. All I was trying to say is I'm not going to scare anyone and I am happy to see Kirsteen also cares about everyone on here to witness to them.
-
If I am an atheist, aren't I separated from God right now?
And doesn't God have a a moral responsibility to make his presence as obvious as possible in order to prevent people from going to hell? -
Well actually God's presence is always on earth through the Holy Spirit. In hell it's total separation from God because his presence isn't there. And God's presence is always here even if it doesn't appear visually. It's like a different sense you feel in your spirit when you meditate on his word and draw close to him. Satan tries to pulls us away from God here on earth which feels like separation. And I think through Christians we spread his message and try to give others hope and the truth. I hope that helped, I'm not very good with words lol
Btw Kirsteen I hope you know I wasn't putting you down, just correcting a bit
