You are in no position to tell me how to live my life. So just log off the fuking computer and go worship your invisible man in the sky. -
OMG! LOL!
xD
of course the book of judas isnt in the bible you f---ing moron! he was portrayed as a bad guy by the roman catholic preasts of the 15th and 16th century! you actually have to get your nose out of the bible and look around for other sources to back up your own beliefs! all of the deciples wrote a book. judas' was taken out by English kings because they decided he wasnt fit to be in the bible. their opinions were formed by the roman catholic priests who (in a hunt for power) had to have a 'bad guy' in the crussifiction. they had to portray someone as bad so that the average townsperson would understand it better.
if you actually do your research, during the last supper, before judas ran off to tell the roman gaurds where jesus was, judas had a conversation with jesus. judas didnt want to betray him at all, but jesus told him that he had to. the reason judas was selected out of all of the deciples is because judas was the closest one to jesus. he was jesus' favorite!
so yes, there is a book of judas. but no, it isnt in the bible.
please do all your research before telling me about a religion i learned enough about to decide not to follow. believe it or not, athiests arent just blind ignorant people who are going to perish in hell. we can back up our claims usually better than the people who follow the religions that deam us as damned.
says alot about your blind faith. you seem to miss some crucial details that come back to bite you in the ass. -
Actually the book of Judas was NEVER considered to be part of the Bible. It was not written by Judas himself, and does not claim to be inspired by God. In fact, the book is written by Judas' followers who believed Jesus wanted to die. Before the betrayal, Jesus was praying to God, asking if there was another way. Pleading not to die. This scene is told in John and Luke. This proves that although Christ knew He had to die, He didn't want to. That is until the Holy Spirit acended upon Him. Therefore it can't be considered part of the Bible or God's Word. Also Jesus did not have a "favorite". In Matthew 22:16 it says, “Teacher we know how honest you are. You teach the way of God truthfully. You are impartial and don’t play favorites."

tongue ExperiencedHow does praying to and believing in God really help you in this life? It may help you in the afterlife, but I'm more concerned about this life, and also I've pretty much bet the farm on God's nonexistance.
