I find all of this offensive.
1) Mary, the virgin, was betrothed to a man named Joseph.
2) While she was out and promised to her vows of not giving up her virginity, an angel visited her and told her to give birth to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
3) She agreed without question (AMAZING!) and when Joseph found out, he wanted to stone her.
4) In a dream, an angel told Joseph to accept Mary as she is and that God placed Jesus in her womb.
Now, one of you is saying, "just remember kids, the Christians want you to stay virgins until you're married. And then they tell you a story of a virgin who got pregnant."
That is totally messed-up. Yes, you should stay a virgin until marriage because you could become pregnant then have an abortion (murder the baby before you give birth), and your soul becomes unclean. Mary is special because she did not do IT with a man to have a baby. I hope this cleared it up for some of you -.-" -
