Well Angelic, I'm Just going to ignore Kierra because she practically admitted that she isnt qualified to debate this. And as for your asking how the earth was created, I'll start with the sun. Space is not empty. There are gasses everywhere in space. Gasses have mass and gravity. They attract towards each other. And condense into large clouds. Eventually, the heat from the condensing gasses causes them to combust, forming a star. The gravity in stars are so strong that they cause nuclear fusion. During the ignition, some of the mass was thrown out into space, then recaptured as their velocity decreased and gravity took back over. While in orbit around the sun, the same physics that caused to sun to form, also created the planets. It's why types of planets are grouped the way they are. The Gas Giants are further away and larger, because more gas is produced from the explosion and can go further without resistance. Earth, being the third rock from the sun, was within a legitimate range of survivable orbit. We have solid, liquid, and gas water on our planet which is an interesting feature of its own. Atoms fromed bonds into strands which we call today as protiens. These protiens also bonded together to form Primitive cells.
While those last few steps seem very lucky and unlikely, think about the billions of stars and hundreds of billions of planets in our galaxy alone. Suddenly, the circumstances seem a bit more probable. -
i know ur ignoring me and all...but plz answer this for me....if god isnt real...then how did the galaxies begin? how did then sun take form? how were us humans created?
-
Please don't try it. Been there and done it. And I also don't want to see another nauseatingly long reply.
-
Kierra, he just answered that.
-
and the sun is a star, made of gases and dust (I think..) you're talking about this like the sun is the only star in the solar system, there are billions of them, and science can explain how each of them formed.
-
And as for the milky way galaxy, once again, there are huge amounts of gasses in the universe, it only takes a bit of mass for them to condense.
Before the sun ignited from the pressure, it would have probably looked like a much larger version of jupiter.
And yes Carri, you're right.
The creation of the universe is still under debate. There are several ideas on the table. The multiple dimension theory, the black hole theory, the infinity theory, the big bang theory, and the infinite mass theory, just to name a few. -
tongue AdvancedBasically Bob is saying there are many theories that explain Creation in which God is not a neccessary part. I personally think multiple dimension theory is most legitimate theory.
-
I like the black hole theory. It makes more sense to me. (it's a cross of infinity theory and multiple dimensions)
-
So explain how the gases "which all started the universe" begin, how humans formed, if you say from atoms, where did they come from, and how was space formed
-
How did galaxies begin?
Science. And natural causes.
Stars, I believe, are burning gases. The sun is a big star.
Did you know we are just one of many in one huge galaxy? We're tiny compared to the rest of our galaxy. There's a black hole in the center that makes the sun look pathetic and weak to it's size. So who is to know if there isn't another planet out there that sustains life? Then there are other galaxies as well. 'The Milkyway' is part of the galaxy in which we can see on earth when you're out on the country away from cities and lights.
No God can create something like this. So stop throwing science and natural causes out of the picture. Your God did none of this, he doesn't deserve credit. The Universe is mysterious and people are always looking for new ways to find and see things. You'd learn about this in Physics, if they don't tell you, then they're keeping it from you.
Even though they state science and religion come together. I don't see how that really works honestly, but I respect that they can put them together best they can. -
another question, how is the earth in the right position from other planets to receive the temperature we need to survive here,
-
The planets probably alined themselves in some way. I'd have to see if my teacher knows anything about it. Hell, bobert probably has an idea.
-
......ya know what?? this is stupid...im done talking with you....bye bye...:)
-
alright Kierra, go ahead. Cover your ears and pretend that none of this happened. Dont face the truth. Go ahead and live in your fantasy world. But if I ever find out that you tried to impose your beliefs or your morals on others, I will destroy you. Plain and simple. And the next time you get upset at me for calling you a kid. Look at your last post. You present yourself as immature, I'm going to treat you just the same.
Angelic, there are 9 planets in our solar system. Lets estimate that that is average. There are over 100 billion stars in the milky way galaxy. So that means that there are an estimated 900,000,000,000 planets in this galaxy alone. Think about it. Saying that the chances of a planet like ours existing is rare, would require that we are actually special. Earth is infinitly insignificant. -
so your telling me, that earth just happened to be ther, to me that's blind faith
