I'd be happy if this thread didn't turn into a debate of the existence of God and be more of a support page for Christians who are struggling with how their sexuality fits in with their faith. An open and accepting place where different views on the subject are welcome.
God doesn't hate anyone. He does not hates gays. -
I agree. God doesn't hate gays.
-
tongue AdvancedBut God doesn't like that they're gay.
-
Things change over time, and maybe God realizes that love can't be controlled, God doesn't hate anyone.
-
Awesomiclegirl NewbieGod doesnt hate he loves everyone the only thing he hates is the way they act and he doesnt make gays to be gays they just choose to God gave Adam and Eve a choice and they sinned im not saying he doesnt know what we choose but he still gives the choice. By the way not trying to start anything im just saying what I know:)

Justin's essay was quite interesting. It gives support to same-sex relationships.
I never chose to feel this way, awg, and I don't think you understand how much pain we go through to keep our faith and deal with what we feel. All I ever ask to be treated as a human, not a disease. >.> Love is not a bad thing. -
tongue AdvancedBeing gay is not a choice. Being open about it and accepting that it's who you are IS a choice. Never confuse the two.
-
tongue AdvancedJust to be honest, I think being a gay Christian is like being a Jewish Nazi.
-
Jewish Nazi...O.o

God doesn't hate homosexuals. He doesn't hate at all, but He disapproves. He disapproves of homosexuality, drugs e.t.c.
But he does not hate. I quite agree with what Tongue was implying. You cannot be homosexual and Christian; you cannot be black and racist. I think you understand what I'm implying. Anyone who thinks like that is contradictory and deluded; simple as that. -
Again, you don't know what God's thinking. So you can't say what's right or wrong. I don't see why people can just sit there and try to change someone for who they are. It reminds me of a fiction I read. The boy was homosexual and he made the choice to not give in to everyone telling him that he's wrong and that he should deny everything that's happened. He wanted to be that person that made a difference. When someone says you're wrong, you know what saying comes to mind?
"It's right for me."
That's one thing wrong with the world. No one can mind their own business.
Well, I'm gonna go before someone tries to 'prove me wrong'. -
Too late! :)
The Bible - the Christian Bible - states that God himself disapproves of homosexuality, and all the other negative things that you can think of. You don't have to know what he's thinking, it's clearly stated in the bible what is wrong and what is right. Black and white. Plain and simple. -
Awesomiclegirl NewbieI agree leah!! Thank you you took the words outta my mouth!! I have a question what relegion are you?

Being homosexual in the eyes of God is wrong. He created the earth, and the order of it. Male and male. Female and female. That is wrong in the eyes of God as He did not create it like that; He created man and then created a woman for the man, Adam and Eve. Not any other way.
That is the order; like day and night, birth and death. Being homosexual is not wrong in the world's eyes', but it is wrong in God's eyes; and He created the world and the order of which it was meant to be.
Once again, I must emphasise that God doesn't hate, He disapproves.
P.S. Awesomiclegirl, I am Christian.
