alr,
is it like, bad if i'm friends with people in the LGBT+ community? like, i have a christian friend, two actually, who are bi and they're great and i love them to pieces, but i'm sure if my mom found out i'd be friendless after.
like, i had a few friends last yr when i was in school who were gay, or bi or pan and they were all amazing people and i really miss them a ton- (lemme cut myself off before i cry :'))
and then my mom found out and f--kin' pulled me out of school.
i just, i don't get it sometimes.
like, i don't think i'm gay/bi/anything in the community but, from my parents point of view, i guess they think being friends with people in the community would influence me and "make me gay".
i, personally, don't see that happening, bc it's not like i've had feelings for a girl or anything.
anyways, just wanted to know what people think. i think i should be allowed bc it's not a big f--king deal if i am friends with people in the lgbt+ community. at least to me it is. -
It's definitely not wrong to be friends with people in that community.

like, idc if someone's gay or bi or pan or ace,
as long as you're gonna be a good friend and not talk abt me behind your back or smth like that, i'll be friends with you. -
yea ^^ there’s nothing wrong with it. people might think being lgbtq+ is wrong in the first place but… nothing in the bible out anything says it’s wrong so i have no idea where humans got that idea. and don’t worry, having gay friends won’t make you gay, so it’s really harmless and i mean being gay, bi, pan, etc. isn’t bad so :)

yeah, so i don't get why my parents have to be so strict abt it.
honestly, i just wanna make friends who are nice to me and actually seem like they wanna be my friend :') -

it says a man shall not lay with a man like a woman 🙄 tbh i don’t agree bc that means the gay people can’t be be happy with the person they love but yk you can believe what you want, i won’t stop you

The original version says man should not lay with boys. As in children. It was mistranslated, purposely or accidentally, to say man. It was originally pedophilia, not homosexuality
