@bossbaby, the question isn't whether lgbt+ is right or wrong, it's whether it's okay for a Christian to be friends with them or not.
-
Depends on the kind of 'friendship'.
-
What exactly do you mean?
-
i agree with tat, @bossbaby, we didn’t ask for your opinion on whether getting lgbtq+ was right or wrong
and yeah, what do you mean by “ Depends on the kind of 'friendship'.” ? -
^
-
the type of friendship where i can be close friends with someone who's gay or bi and not have my parents make me unfriend them :')
-
*being lgbtq+
i just realized that typo :’) -
I mean in the Bible it says that there must be one man and one woman, but it's fine to be friends with people from that community. I honestly don't really support LGBTQ+, but I'm trying to be nice to everyone.
please no hate -
Doesn't the Bible teach about loving everyone the same? How can you believe that and still be homophobic? True Christianity is loving everyone as you would yourself. How can you willingly be this hateful?
please no hate -
loving everyone is a commandment that i try to live by as all the other commandments. and i do love everyone, as everyone is a person who sins like me. although im not on any kind of saintlike pedestal to accuse and judge people, homosexual or related behavior leads to bad, historically, and/or in christian standing.
when you read the bible, you understand why things were made the way they were, and why things are good and bad, and i live by that. that doesnt mean i dont love everyone just because some may do bad or be wrong in the eyes of god.
it is perfectly okay to be friends with or know lgbt plus people, but i do my best to pray for them -
Yes God won't punish things like that
-
Kindness goes a long way bro, being friends with anyone doesn't matter just be a friend. Friendship rules above status. But don't go too far don't be dumb
-
@breadgirl69 I'm not homophobic
Just saying that even if I don't support their opinion, I should still be nice to them because the Bible says to love everyone no matter what.
