You can't decide to believe only partial verses of the Bible that coincide with the Quran. There are numerous verses in the Bible pointing to who Jesus was and how he died. The entire Gospel in the Bible is about Jesus's life, death, and resurrection.
You ignored my reference to the entire first chapter of John. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. If you keep reading, youll discover that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John the Baptist was sent to testify who that man was, who the Word was. He said that it was Jesus Christ, which to come full circle, means that Christ was the Word. So Jesus was with God in the beginning, and he also was God. Implying that Jesus and God are one, but also separate. God the Father cannot be a man, as you pointed out. That part is true. God the Father is not a man. God the Son became a man, because the two are separate, even though they are still one. Jesus was fully God, and fully man. A concept we can't understand, but our rules don't apply to an all powerful God.
I am not going to even bother to pull out all the extrabiblical sources that point out that it was Jesus Christ who died on the cross. Because it definitely was Jesus who died from crucifixion. If you believe the Bible, then you'd have to believe that it says that Jesus was the one who was crucified and raised again.
And for the other point you raised up, I couldn't find a better way to explain it than [url= Jesus said the Father was greater than him because he chose for it to be that way when he became a man. He chose to become fully man, even though he was still fully God. Jesus chose to become a man to show us he understood what it was like to face trials and temptations. To show us he actually understood our pain because he has been through it himself. And yet he was still divine in nature, without sin. -
When URLs don't work :( -
If it wasn't Jesus, then who was in the upper room? Who was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane? Who got arrested? Who stood before the Sanhedrin as they tried to find fault with him? Who stood before Pontius Pilate on trial?
You have admitted that Jesus was in the Garden, by quoting a passage from there. So, if he prayed in the garden, how could he not be arrested? If he was arrested, how could he not stand before the Sanhedrin? If he stood before the Sanhedrin, how could he not stand on trial before Pilate? If he stood on trial, how could he not be crucified?
I don't see how this could be your logic that he was in the garden, and yet didn't die. -
That's our belief that Jesus Christ was lifted to the Heavens and wasnt let to be crucified. According to our faith, Jesus Christ isn't dead and he will return in the future to slay the Antichrist. This I believe coincides with both Christianity and Islam.
-
No. Christianity is very clear that Jesus is the Son of God, that he stepped off his throne to become a man and be born through the virgin Mary, that he lived a sinless life, and that he was crucified to save the world from sin. And then 3 days after he died, he was resurrected and he lived on earth for a little while before ascending to heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God, but one day he will return.
The biggest difference between Muslims and Christians is that Christians believe Jesus was divine and that he was the one who died on the cross. We believe Jesus wasn't just a disciple, like Muslim's say Muhammad was. We believe Jesus is the one and only Son of God, and is God, and was a man sent to save the world. -
macoooo AdvancedMary was mentioned in the Qur'an more than the Prophet Jesus Christ, peace be upon him
The Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, was mentioned in the Qur'an more than the Prophet Jesus Christ, peace be upon him
This is to talk about situations and events
The number is not the scale
It's a few things actually
"Make no distinction..."
In studying the Qur'an I came across this verse:
We did not send any messenger before you except with the inspiration: "There is no god except Me; you shall worship Me alone."
~ Qur'an 21:25
So it would appear that the Messengers have inspiration.
I also read this verse:
Say (O Muhammad): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.
~ Qur'an 3:84
Which to me suggests "we make no distinction between any of them", i.e., the Prophets and Messengers
120. And all that We relate to you (O Muhammad ) of the news of the Messengers is in order that We may make strong and firm your heart thereby. And in this (chapter of the Qur'an) has come to you the truth, as well as an admonition and a reminder for the believers.
121. And say to those who do not believe: "Act according to your ability and way, We are acting (in our way).
122. And you wait ! We (too) are waiting."
123. And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad ) and put your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you (people) do."
The stories of the Prophets have universal appeal, as they were chosen by God, as examples for humankind.
However, in the Bible, especially in the Old Testament, the lives of the prophets were gravely distorted. Lies were told about them to such an extent that they were no longer examples of righteousness but examples of corruption!
For example, Prophet Lot is portrayed as having become drunk with his daughters and committing incest with them!
Prophet David is portrayed as lusting after a man’s wife, committing adultery with her and sending her husband off to the front lines of the battle to be killed!
As for Prophet Solomon, he is portrayed as worshipping idols in his old age!!!
Of course stories about Jesus, being God or the son of God, were woven into accounts called “gospels” and attributed to Jesus’ disciples. Consequently, the Qur’an cleared up these lies and elevated the prophets back to their proper status.
Thus, the Qur’an relayed the basic message of all prophets, in the most simple and clear terms: Worship God alone and do not worship false gods.
It should also be noted that the Qur’an only mentions the key points of the lives of the prophets, wherein there are moral lessons to be learned. So their stories in the holy Qur’an focus on the spiritual message and do not get bogged down with unnecessary details.
I advise you to compare, for example, the story of Joseph in both, the Qur’an and the Bible

Jesus in the Quran holds one of the highest statures amongst the Prophets. Unlike other Prophets who performed miracles, Jesus himself was a miracle, as he was born of a virgin mother, and God describes him and his mother Mary as such:
“…and We made her (Mary) and her son (Jesus) a sign for the worlds.” (Quran 21:91)
Nonetheless, in the Quran, Jesus is described as having many miracles not bestowed upon other prophets. God says:
“And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles” (Quran 2:87)
look and listen very well
allah is one for Muslims , Jews and Christians....
But
Regrettably
Christian alter the message of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him upside down
from Uniformity to the Trinity
Distortion of the heavenly books ( the Torah and the Gospel )
This led to dissent and disagreement
And create a new teachings do not relate to the true teachings
Drinking blood , pork and drinking alcohol , adultery , lying ,...
Example
So look to the Prophet Muhammad , peace be upon him and his companions and all Muslims so far
Do not say Muhammad is God or the son of God
Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e. Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them." (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol. 7)
Volume 4, Book 55, Number 652:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one." -

The Israelites plotted and conspired against Jesus and formulated a plan to have him assassinated. He was to be executed in public, in a particularly gruesome manner, well known in the Roman Empire: crucifixion.
Crucifixion was considered a shameful way to die, and “citizens” of the Roman Empire were exempt from this punishment.
It was designed to not only prolong the agony of death, but to mutilate the body. The Israelites planned this humiliating death for their Messiah – Jesus, the messenger of God. God in his infinite mercy prevented this abominable event by putting the resemblance of Jesus on somebody else and elevating Jesus alive, body and soul, to heaven. The Quran is silent about the exact details of just who this person was, but we know and believe with certainty that it was not Prophet Jesus.
Muslims believe that the Quran and the authentic narrations of Prophet Muhammad contain all the knowledge mankind needs in order to worship and live according to God’s commandments. Therefore, if small details are not explained, it is because God in His infinite wisdom has judged these details to be of no benefit to us. The Quran explains, in God’s own words, the conspiracy against Jesus and His plan to outwit the Israelites and raise Jesus to heaven.
“And they plotted to kill Jesus and God planned too. And God is the Best of the planners.” (Quran 3:54)
“And because of their boasting, "We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God." But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Jesus was put over another man, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge; they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely, they killed him not. But God raised him (Jesus) up unto Himself. And God is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.” (Quran 4:157-158)

There are a lot of priests and monks are very good
allah save them
And send to them guidance
And opens their eyes to the truth and to convert to Islam
Publish the truth after recognition
And shed tears after the light of guidance an expression of joy
So God praise those priests and monks
110. You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] Are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (ie Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).

53. Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Surah Az-Zumar
Go directly to the Creator
He asked for forgiveness and remorse and not to return to sin again
There is no intermediary to reveal his mistakes
And take an instrument for forgiveness from the church
This is a particular delusion
The most important thing is the Ten Commandments, which will lead you to Islam easily

Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah may Allaah have mercy upon him said, “Know that it is agreed that the Earth is round-shaped. The orbits are circular as stated in the Book, the Sunnah (Prophetic tradition) and the consensus of the scholars. The word Falak (orbit) means that it is round.”
Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {… each in an orbit floating.}[Quran, 21:33] The astrologists agreed on this.
Even if there is a theory that suggests that the Earth is flat, it is confirmed today that the Earth is round without doubt. It was confirmed long ago in the Quran that the orbits are round-shaped.
5. He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
Surah Az-Zumar
the words of the infallible Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.”
Finally, we would like to draw the questioner’s attention to the fact that the scholars established a very important principle, which is: it is impossible for a scientific fact to contradict absolute Islamic jurisprudence
No my dear brother
the Earth is flat
Your Words incorrect
Verse:
Allah says: ((5) He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver ) [Cliques: 5]. Today, we do not doubt the spherical Earth as we see before us the real pictures.
Explanation of the verse:
Speaks of our Lord Almighty for blessing by the myriad, tells us about his creation of the heavens and the earth, and that night liqueurs on the day and the day to night. Pelleting and recycling, it is said to Carr and Korha turban, but this is said to Aflak spherical shape.
Hence it can be concluded with an important scientific reference to the form that moves at night and the day is the spherical shape where overlap each other in some part.
Scientific Fact:
Has become a fact-finding of a spherical Earth certainty. And evidenced by the pictures taken from outer space to Earth, in 1968 picked up the first image of the Earth by the Apollo spacecraft, and then taken thousands of pictures of the Earth, all of which showed the ground ball swimming in total darkness.
Face of the miracle:
We can see from this verse specifically says: (liqueurs night on the day and liqueurs day to night) and a system of spherical walking it day and night and interfere with each other, and this happens only if the earth was spherical, which is what he found scientists the true picture.
The question is: if it was not Muhammad is the messenger of God Almighty So where did this expression (liqueurs night on the day and liqueurs day to night) and how he learned that the earth is spherical, this is evidence of prophecy Prophet peace be upon him.

macoooo AdvancedThe Quran on the Origin of the Universe
The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’ (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition).[1] This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that ‘smoke’
The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that ‘smoke’ material. God has said in the Quran:
“Then He turned to the heaven when it was smoke...” (Quran 41:11)
Because the earth and the heavens above (the sun, the moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from this same ‘smoke,’ we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous ‘smoke,’ they formed and separated from each other. God has said in the Quran:
“Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?...” (Quran 21:30)
Dr. Alfred Kroner is one of the world’s renowned geologists. He is Professor of Geology and the Chairman of the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. He said: “Thinking where Muhammad came from . . . I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years, with very complicated and advanced technological methods, that this is the case. Also he said: “Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance, that the earth and the heavens had the same origin.
