And it did not come from "nothing", you heathen. It came from an explosion of time, space and a clusterf--- of particles and molecules. -
When looking at it through simple, unwilling-to-learn eyes yeah, it's total bulls---, but you have to understand that a lot of what is said in there isn't direct, like creating the world, God didn't just poof everything into existence. But believe whatever you want, and see ya in hell.
Not just Christians, you just think you're above everybody huh? Well hate to burst your bubble but there are people out there who are smarter and know more about different things than you do, at a younger age even.
But what was BEFORE that explosion? Every theory but String theory says absolutely nothing. WHICH MAKES NO SENSE. -

And I never implied that I was better than anyone really? And congratulations to them, because they could be f---ing more aware of science, better yet reality, then you'll ever be.

I admit some people are smarter than I am, even at my own age, but I realize reality in a realm that is unimaginable to you, because you lack the necessary component to make it work, like a car without gas.
Nope, I could blow you away with my knowledge of it and the 11 dimensional reality and other universes that it presents, and is currently the most accepted, most universe-defining theory out there, but I'm sure that that would make me look like I actually knew something worth a s---, so I won't degrade your perfectness with that. -

Uh no. I know that I'm on f---ing Earth and I'm real, you're real, anything that is the opposite of fiction is real and I f---ing support evolution which is a scientic fact that actually exists and has been logically proven by scientists and biologists that support and study it.

Can we just go back to the watch and evolution comparison real fast? Because that analogy made me laugh.
The parts of a watch are not living. They cannot physically move on their own. Organisms are living. They can move on their own. So over billions of years, these organisms evolved into fish (because they're living and not metal), and then the fish evolved into reptiles, which then evolved and diversified into small mammals, who then evolved and diversified into larger mammals, and then well, you get the idea. -
@1714 - You think science is all so wonderful and explains every little detail that resides on your planet, huh? Well, you're right for most of the part - science is wonderful and it explains most things. Since you think you're so high and mighty, then explain these questions science has not completely answered:
1) Biologists don't fully understand the processes that take place in living cells. How cells consume energy, how they produce proteins and how they divide.
2) Gravity affects us every second. Yet it is a mystery to physicists. They don't know how gravity pulls you down to the ground when you jump or how it keeps the moon in orbit around the earth.
3) Cosmologists estimate that about 95% of what makes up the universe is invisible by scientific instruments. They divide these ... entities into two categories: dark matter and dark energy. The nature of these remains are unknown.
I'd love for you to enlighten me on those subject areas, 1714.
On the contrary, the Bible and science go hand-in-hand in examples of the earth's age, how the earth is suspended, preparation of the earth for human habitation and instructions on disease control and hygiene. I can elaborate on some of them, if you want me to.
Oh and BTW, the Bible teaches respect and courtesy ... Something you clearly have not grasped, @1714. -

As Alex said, it's an analogy. Plus, it would not matter if those parts stayed in that box for a day, or for a hundred years. In any time period, only an intelligent form of life could piece it together. The physical laws of our Earth are what we go by today. I don't see why some people don't go by them concerning how our universe came about, as well.

I understand where you're coming from. There was a point when I, too, questioned all these things. A time when it seemed foolish to believe in. But that was when I didn't do any reading of the Bible on my own. I only listened to what others had to say about it (which, might I add, is what you are doing right now. If there is even a cell in your body that wishes to learn for yourself, out of a pure heart, by all means, go read a Bible.)
It says in the Bible that spiritual things are like foolishness to those who are of the world. Just like how the things of the world are foolishness to those who are spiritual.
I honestly feel bad for you. When one's eyes are opened to the truth, everything becomes clear. You obviously haven't experienced this truth, which is sad. I hope that one day, you may. -

Is earth living? Is our universe an organism? No. The clock parts (or any kind of machine parts) represent our universe, which is complex and points to an intelligent creator. Even without organisms, it is still largely complex. The fact that there are galaxies upon galaxies. The fact that the planets revolve around the sun -- a source of energy and of life, placed away at a distance that gives us just the amount we need. How you can believe that came about arbitrarily, is hard to understand. -
Btw AP, you said the Bible condradicts itself. Can you give me 4 examples to back that popular claim?
