I can not explain it in two sentences so let me take this one step at a time.
The theorys topic is prior to the rapture and tribulation. Something that secular people tend to know little to nothing about -

This will take a long period of time to fully explain but let me start from the beginning.
Introduction and Benediction
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servantsthings which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
revelation means reveal
so basically that first line says "reveling Jesus christ"
Intriguing isn't it?
Please remember that it is not Johns revelation. It's Jesus's revelation to John. Or literally like saying "I Jesus am going to reveal the future to you John so please write this down so that the church can read what I am about to reveal to you"
The book of revelation was written by John the apostle will he was on a island,with no one around, isolated left to die.
Things that will soon take place. Well as many people believe a thousand years is like a day to god so it hasn't been very long for God. God also never gives us a specific date on when the rapture will take place but he tells us to watch for the signs and know the season.
what are these signs and seasons? That will take awhile to explain so just be patient.
