Thread Topic: Give me some real, hard, evidence that God doesn't exist

That was a late post yet somehow I knew you'd say that O.o

care_bear19 NewbieThere's physical evidence of evolution. And you'll say "he made the bases of life." as you said earlier. But what you're saying combats what the Bible says. Which is as you say, the word of God. The bible says God made all the animals and then Adam. Adam then named all the animals and was told to rule over them. Which s also a debateable thing. Some christains say that means all the animals that have ever existed, some say the same thing you do. Christians can't even decide on one thing with each other. They debate about everything because it's all based on opinions. The same goes with science on certain things but, evolution is a vastly accepted thing in the Scientific community.

Are you seriously claiming that there is no evidence of evolution?

I've read through all the posts... I'm not for evolution, so this is more of me responding to the others.
Creation:
A model of origins based on scientific evidence that supports the biblical account of an omniscient creator
Evolution:
A model of origins based on the theory that random natural processes produced the first "living" cell from nonliving chemicals. From this starting point organisms have increased in complexity and variety.
Science speculates what might have occured in the past and interprets rock and fossils to shed light on the matter.
The Bible records events of the beginning, but no step-by-step scientific data. God chose to keep some details of his work hidden.
The evolution model suggests that all species came from nonliving matter. Then came primitive unicellular organisms, which through a long series of mutations have become what we see today.
The creation model suggests all "kinds" appearing at the same time. Thus, fossil records should point to an assortment of species being present in the record from the beginning.
The Cambrian period is one of the oldest layers where fossils can be found. Lifeforms with great variation are found here.
All kingdoms, phyla, classes, orders, and families seem to show up suddenly. There is no hard evidence of transition species.
It doesn't prove the creation model conclusively, but the evidence seems to support the it more than the evolution model.
Not only that, but what we see in nature agrees with that in the Bible...
Genesis 1:24,25
Each kind shall produce after its own kind.
Have you ever seen an exception to this? -
1. What scientific data supports creationism?
2. Please cite your sources for these claims about the fossil layers.
3. Your bible quotes are cherry picked for your argument.
4. Beefalo, mixed breed dogs, ligers, most harvested crops, I can keep going on creatures that have been changed and do not produce their own. -
1. The fact that animals produce after their own kind (in the taxonomical sense), and concerning the fossils.
2. Honestly I just learned it in school xD I don't even care about most of it, I have faith in God.
3. I do that a lot. What's wrong with it? Besides, I was thinking
more along the lines of the Bible supporting science, not science supporting the Bible.
4. Yes, but you neer see a lizard turning into a bird, and you never see apples becoming watermelons. -
4. Or rather, I should say, you never see a lizard giving birth to a bird/lizard mix/mutation.
-
1. The fossils is innacurate or you heard it wrong. What kind of school do you go to?
2. "Don't even care." "faith in God." Got it. You have no proof.
3. The same quote is also used by people who are against GMO's and was used in the 50's as an argument against interracial marriage. It's a catch all, like most of the book. You people apply any quote that sounds even remotely related to anything you can to justify your claims.
4. You're right, you don't see that. But we can trace how they're related. We can trace back to where they separated from. If they both came about at the same time, wouldn't there be even a single case of something that doesn't follow the path that all of those species took for evolution? There isn't.
But honestly, you've already made your case abundantly clear. You aren't looking for an actual conversation any more than Wendee is. You've already stated that you don't care, and that your faith is all you need. And as long as people like you are willing to ignore any facts and deny the chance to actually LEARN anything, then this conversation isn't going to go anywhere. -

1. Yeah, you're probably right. I think it was just someone's theory... but they were explaining it as though it was fact :o sorry about that.
2. I don't have proof. I never claimed to have it, really.
3. Ohh. Ok. I don't know anything about that... I just like quoting the Bible. To me, it's a light in my life.
4. I don't know how to reply. As I've stated I have no proof :(
It's very hard for someone with faith or belief in anything to simply put it aside in something like this (Wendee included). It becomes apart of us, something we live by. I have already made up my mind. It seems you have as well, though. I don't mind hearing other people's view points (in fact, yours are quite interesting), but that doesn't mean it's going to change my entire belief system. I'm not agnostic -- if I were, you'd probably enjoy this better.
I can't prove creation to you anymore than you can prove evolution to me.
I don't kow where to take it from here, lol. I guess this really isn't going to go anywhere.
