  Hami, I get your logic but I am quite stubborn so I still say.
  If theist just means believer (which, TECHNICALLY, it does) and 'a' is the negative then it means non-believer.

  I think we might be talking past each other.
  
  A theist refers to one that believes in god (but is not a deist). An atheist is one who does not believe in god.
  
  And 'theist' technically means 'a believer in god', not a 'believer', which could mean just about anything. 'Theist' comes from a word meaning god.

  How to be a true Christian (advice from a 15-year-old who has been Christian her whole life; not a pastor or anything) :
  
  
  1. Except Jesus into your heart and truly believe in him. That's all then you're a Christian
  
  2. Reading the bible pleases God, as well as following his word, but just step 1 is being a Christian
  
  3. Baptism is just a way of publicly displaying your beliefs and showing that you are proud to be Christian(even though it doesn't go that public, usually)
  
  
  If you choose to be an atheist, then you are. But not because you're not baptized.
