Then how do you explain the witch trials? Don't you think that was Christians going around murdering people who aren't Christians?
-
-The crusades
-Salem witch trials
-Nazis
shall I go on? -
There is a gross stereotype that has been implemented on Christians. Many Christians live up to the stereotype, and many do not. It all depends on the person. I personally don't believe that people of other religions or nonreligions will go to hell. If you're a good person that's enough.
-
Every stereotype is based at least partially in truth.
-
or the truth is based on stereotypes. one of those.

UnLoving NewbieThose people must've broke out of a mental instutuion then. Not all Christians are crazy murderers. You don't see people doing that today. Most people...ewe You can't just say that all Christians are crazy because of that; yes those Christians were insane but not all Christians are insane.
Don't stereotype us Don't be a meanypoo -
Actually unloving, they were all commendable and respected for their times. Seen as honorable people and of the utmost esteem. The pinnacle of humanity.
And the most twisted part of all is that they followed the bible more closely than modern Christians do.
How well do you know your own book? Of the violence it recommends? Of the inhumane torture and degrading ideologies that it teaches?
To sum up the bible in a single list:
-Women are property
-Change is bad
-free thinking is bad
-anything different is bad
-men are always right
And believe it or not, we very rarely stereotype you people. But we're also not excluding your long and bloody history and your psychotic book about rape and hatred. -
UnLoving NewbieScriptures to prove it please??
-
Leviticus.
-
You (God) smote the slaves together with their princes, and the princes together with their servants. Their wives you handed over to plunder, and their daughters to captivity; and all the spoils you divided among your favored sons, who burned with zeal for you, and in their abhorrence of the defilement of their kinswoman, called on you for help. (Judith 9:3-4 NAB)
-
That's just the evil bible quote of the day.
-
Lelelele reads bobs quote and not sure how is evil.
-
Chapter 9 of Judith is actually about her praying for an end to a war.
-
God smote all men no matter how much they actually played a part in it. Gave all the grieving wives to the other forces. And sold all daughters in to custody.
All of this because some men didn't feel it was right how other people were being treated. -
Just watching Supernatural, and I know that it's only a TV show, but this woman killed a man and her reasoning to it was because God told her to. Plenty of people back then (and some even now) say that God told them to.
