Because we're not robots. We actually care about other people and what happens to them. It makes us sad to know that someone is going to hell. If we can stop that, why wouldn't we try?

If you're truly Christian you know that God has a plan and doesn't need you to change anyone's hearts. You know what you do when no one listens or you're not making a difference? You pray. Of course you care, but you're not helping by being a dictator. That's a cruel and robotic way of "caring" if you ask me.

You just have some kind of fear of brainwashing, dude. That seems to be your only reason for not believing in God. So I don't even know what to comment on that.
Dude everything my church says can be backed up by the bible; I won't believe in something that my church tells me, if the bible says otherwise. -

Anyone can take a snippet of the Bible and make it say anything. Do you actually know God's heart? How do you know your church isn't simply taking what they think sounds good and leaving out the whole truth?

Shoving it down your throats? By posting scriptures and answering people's questions when they deny God? In the religion forum. Or even in real life: it's not like we just walk up to people and say "Hey dude, believe in God. Your religion is wrong". If someone is open to talking to us, we will talk to them, and we will answer their questions; we will attempt to talk to them, if they don't want to hear it, we'll stop. It's not like we try to take over the world with our religion; yes, we would be overjoyed if everyone believed in our religion, but that's jut because we would be happy that everyone is going to Heaven instead of hell.
This is just my opinion, but.....
I don't believe I am blinded.
I believe non-believers are lost.
Just don't even comment on this last part if you're going to get all worked up over it because I'm just throwing why I believe out there. -

Sailor Neptune, I don't even know who you are. You registered today. I'm aware that you may have another account, but jeez; everyone was asking why Christians try to convert. So I answered the question. And you randomly lashed out at me for answering the question that everyone has been asking.

Everyone else talks about religion here, yet I'm the only one who gets yelled at. If you have a problem with hearing my religious opinions, leave this forum because this is where it belongs and it's open to all opinions, including mine. -
