Thread Topic: For those of you who believe in God
-
So you say there is no proof of God existing.
You say that if you cannot see, smell, hear, taste, or feel him, he is not real.
You can't see, smell, hear, taste, or feel Bob's brain either. -
Bump
-
Exactly, so he's not real.
But you can do those things to a brain.
Why did you say "bump"? -
To bump the topic....
You CAN do that, but you still believe he has one before the test is done, right? -
But why? It was still on the front page and it wasn't even 10 minutes old.
Nope, I know he has one. -
Okay. So you know he has one (even before testing) because you know how that part of physics work.
I know that God exists because I know how that part of the bible works. -
Well, it's not rocket science.
The bible was written by man, not your god. -
Physics were written by man.
-
But at least physics are real and have evidence to back them up.
-
There's a book called "Heaven Is For Real". That child went to Heaven and back. There's also one called "60 Minutes In Heaven" or something.
-
That child was just imagining what his parents told him and then when he almost died, that's what he saw, so he wouldn't be scared.
-
Doctors can actually bring people back to life if they weren't injured too bad and if they do it quickly. Then they'd go to Heaven and back. But anyway....
So why do you believe in Bob's brain based off of physics, but you don't believe in God based off of the bible and/or the books? Just asking... -
-
I already told you why: because physics have evidence to back it up whereas the bible does not.
-
You die and there's your proof.
Also God came in human form as Jesus to prove to people. And those people wrote the bible (with God telling them what to write)
