Thread Topic: For those of you who believe in God

It is inevitable that bad things happen to good people. Remember this and then ask yourself where your God fits into that equation. Argue if you want, but I've seen too much s--- happen to people who simply don't deserve it.

I completely agree with you. If God really does exist, he must be a very very heartless person, from the things I've experienced.
But that's just my opinion. -
Then that person must've done something wrong to cause that.
Which really depends on the case, so I need an example or something.
God didn't create evil. The evil that happens on this earth isn't because of God.
It is because of the devil and even good people give into the devil sometimes. -
If god created everything, he created evil.

So, if god didn't create evil, then god is not good because without evil there can't be good and vice versa.

If he truly created EVERYTHING though then if would only make sense that he created satan, wouldn't it?

God gave us free will.
If he didn't give us free will, he'd make us all be good people.
But since he gave us free will, many of us choose to do evil things.
And if he didn't give us free will, that would defeat the purpose of humans. We'd all be robots programmed to love God. But he instead created humans with free will so that the ones that do love him love him on their own free will and its true and pure love. -
Also in my opinion that story doesn't prove anything.
There is physical proof that brains exist.
"Scientifically" the absence of heat is the absence of heat, the same goes for light. -
Well he's not perfect if he can't create people to be perfect is he?

Yes, God created Satin.
Satin was an angel who had free will as well.
But Satin chose not to follow God.
He chose to become evil and to trick people into following his evil ways.
Everywhere you turn, there is Satin. You might not know/believe it is his work you are being tricked into, but it happens everyday. Drugs. Alcohol. Sex before marriage. Affairs. -
He CAN create people to be perfect, he just chose not to.

Satin is a fabric.... So I guess fabric is the devil now because it didn't want to follow god.

And about the story ---
Yes, it is scientifically proven that the brain must exist for the body to function. But that doesn't mean EVERY body has a brain. It makes sense, yes. But unless they cut open every person's head, they don't know for a fact that everyone has one.
And BTW the story actually said lungs but whatever.
