Thread Topic: Define 'normal' in your own words.
-
Just like everyone else.
-
@Skyler That was it. :P
-
Normal is normal. It's hard to explain it any other way.
-
Something that is considered normal is something usual and has happened already or more than once, so it therefore won't cause uncertainty.For example: snow during winter is normal in Virginia.
-
Repoman Newbienormal is relative cause there is no such thing as normal
-
the opposite of different
-
Normal is boring, blending in, being another face in the crowd, having no originality, going along with what everyone else says/does.
-
Better definition:
One standard deviation from 50th percentile! -
There is no normal. Normal does not exist. Normal would mean that there is one absolute standard that everyone has to follow. There is an "average," and that means that you're in the middle. Not one extreme, and not the opposite extreme. The word 'normal' doesn't mean anything more than what stereotype you are.
-
There is no official normal. Normal is the average personality and behavior of a certain person. That is "normal" for them. It doesn't matter how one person acts comapred to another person. That doesn't make one "normal."
-
@Obsessed: Yes, thank you!
-
Normal... Is boring.
And no one is actually boring.
So "normal" doesn't exist!
Logic.
