This is the most retarded thing I'll ever complain about
But I honestly hate being a girl. I honestly feel like (wait for it, here comes the stupidity) I'll never be (or feel) pretty.
With or without makeup, I look like crap to me. I hate the shape of my face, my eyes, my hair, everything.
I know I always preach "Looks don't matter, everyone is beautiful." But I'm a bit of a hypocrite in this way, because I honestly kind of do care a bit about how I look externally...
Bah. Maybe it's just self esteem issues, maybe I don't see reality, maybe I'm just overly critical of myself, or it's because I'm a girl, but either way, I constantly feel like s--- about it. -
Ting, let me take this moment to swear on my life, that you are beautiful. I honestly don't know how you don't see it. I very much agree with you that you don't look like the 'Asian girl stereotype'. You look genuine and have very pure, natural beauty. I wish you could see what I see, and I never want you to feel this way about yourself. I'm sorry I'm not very good with advice. .3.

Every girl feels this way at some point. I personally, can relate tremendously.
First of all you're Asian. Asian women are some of the most beautiful in the world. Exotic, unique and rare. Fact!
I'd be lying if I said looks didn't in some aspects matter. But, I'd also be telling the truth when I say it's not the most important. It really isn't. I'm one of the many believers of personality over physicality, and quietly hope that I mean what I say, to practice what I preach. And I can honestly say I do.
You're beautiful. Beauty unadorned is most adorned, once spoke St. Augustine. The people in this world that are convinced that they are ugly are actually the most beautiful. Remember that. Also, always remember that a good heart will bring such exceeding happiness that a nose job can't.
Beauty captures our attention, personality captures your heart.
