Back in the Wild West, there was a robber. He broke into the bank and stole money, which was in the form of coins. He put them in a long bag. He then fled, where the police were following him. He finally arrived to a stream. He tied the money around his waist to keep him down and grabbed a 2m long tube like plant to breathe from. He jumped in the water, where the police didn't find him. 10 minutes later, though, he died.
He didn't drown and the police didn't kill him.
So the question is: How did he die?

Um,wild guess.The tube he was breathing turned out to be a snake.That or the coins had something in them that infected the water.
