here's something i've been puzzling over...why does it seem like every single genius, mover, great thinker of the past was either partially or completely insane???
take Hitler for example...he slaughtered, and tortured MILLIONS of people, and through his words shaped our entire future as we know it. he was a crazy ass hole.
even someone like Albert Einstein who said "if i have seen farther then some it is only because i stood on the shoulders of giants" that is a VERY powerful thing to say, not only that but his work on calculus and the theory of relativity (even thought it's kinda outdated) he was a brilliant man...but he married his COUSIn for cryin out loud...if that tells you how bad his people skills were...
any way, i finally figured it out.
here it is:
a psycho is nothing more than a deviant.
a person who does not follow the cultural norm.
a genius is deviant in nature, because their intelligence is above others in some way, thus they do stuff in a better way.
granted that your not supposed to devote your heart and soul to a book called mein campf and take over half the world with it but, the very genius of a progressive thinker sets them apart from all of society, which causes us to label them deviant, which makes them seem nuts...
:D does that sound right? -
yeah. that sounds about right.

tongue NewbieHow does one define insanity? I think that's the conundrum more than anything.
-
That's seems resonible.

hey hitler was kool! any man that can single handedly start a world war has my respect!

thank you corpse.

Welcome.
-
WOO-HOO!!
hooray for psycho's! -
tongue NewbieI'm sorry, but I refuse to sing the praises of a man who attempted to exterminate an entire race of people and other undesirables and glorified racism. Also I'm half Jewish.
-
well the fact is the man was comepletly brilliant. his actions crossed the world. you know he wasn't even German...mad, deranged, and insane but you have to see his brilliance...
-
tongue NewbieI think the fact that you can see a mass murderer as a genius betrays a sense of ambivalence towards human suffering- or to say it more simply, you don't seem to care that people get senselessly killed.

hey slim's just saying how its cool to see how fast people can be influenced by one person.
