I have a very good idea of what things are worth. That's why I don't get screwed easy, and I'm also fair.
Like I'm having someone on dA make me an icon, an animated one. It cost about 100 points. But knowing the details I asked for and the work and time put into it, it was very fair, so I felt no need to negociate the price. Plus it makes me happy when I support young and growing artists.
I went to anime con and this one dealer had ridiculously priced plushies. One that looked at the most $8 dollars was selling for $15. And there was this Miku Hatsune one for $65. o.o
I went down to another table and found a smaller version of that Miku doll for like $15 bucks. Smarter deal.
The only way I would ever pay a bit more for something is if it's something I couldn't get anywhere else and I really wanted it.
Then I saw a poster I thought was for sure $10 bucks. It was very nice. Then when the lady told me it was $5 I was very happy. She even gave me a nice bag for it, while I was carrying the other two things bought from pricier dealers.
I guess my point is, I highly respect people who price their items well. Because I'll keep that in mind and end up looking them up again. Better business plan if you ask me. :3 -

You people are lucky! My mom used to give me allowance but there was no point of it anymore so she bought a piggy-bank to put all my moola in for this Washington trip I'm going to in eighth grade that's like worth more than Snooki's ass. Although before that my mom would say no to what I'd buy -EVEN IF I PAID WITH MY OWN MONEY- she's so picky! She wouldn't even let me get a shirt that was like $6.99 cause it was 'dark' she's always saying 'in highschool you can make these choices'
