Also uhm the whole gathering was supposed to be about my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary but tRuMp happened (I'm prettyyyyy sure everyone knows it by now, so I'm just not gonna mention it) so then everyone got into politics and religion the whole time and me and my cousin were just like "bUt tHey'Ve BEEn MaRRiEd fOr 50 yEarS"
also people were too scared of misgendering or being the only people to correctly gender me so they just.... Didn't talk to me. And if they did it was just "hey KiDDo, how're you doing BuDDy" and it's like... I'm not gonna be offended, I don't expect you to get it right automatically, it just feels really un personal or whatever the word is to just call me buddy for 2 days straight, like tf? -
