Oh god that sucks- I get why they’d still want you to go, but like, why not remove the trigger? You shouldn’t have to do that. Yeah that kinda makes sense, but still. Sorry, what? They've told me that if it gets to a point where it's more uncomfortable then not that they'll talk about taking me out of it, but I told them that and they forgot I even said anything so like- No, it's not that, it got taken that time I was on the family computer so then they got pissed and were like "dude this happens way too much, we're taking your phone too" so it's not because of the temple at ALL I promise xD

I mean, that’s good, but I feel it when they just forget everything- sometimes parents only hear what they want to hear, it’s f---ed up. Oh okay, good lol. Also reminder to force dad to let you text Eli on his phone because it's his birthday, and Miguire told you to check on him while they're gone because ever time Miguire leaves he has a dip in mental health/stability so um yeah. Dad told you that you could, but he's been procrastinating it lol

And they put the sensor thingys on the door like- uhm, yall told me you were going to rethink that because uhm, how exactly is our house going to be the emergency safe house for my friends if an ALARM goes off when they walk in- like ok idiots
And yes most of the reason I'm mad is because of Sunday. Deal with it, dad. You f---ed up big time -
I sound stupid writing it out- like yes a security system is good, but sensors on the doors feels like too much, yknow? Just slap some cameras on them. We already had a ring doorbell, we were fine. Nothing happened to cause us to need more protection. Like, sensors and s---? That's too much. It just feels like a bad investment, y'know? and yes, part of this is because I'm pissed that I can't sneak out much anymore, but literally all my friends are out of town for another month, I'm not sneaking out anywhere for a l o n g time. Also you b----es literally said sneaking out was fine as long as it wasn't past 1 and it was in a group and not by the Highway. So I don't get why now you're like "aw s--- we need SECURITY" for no apparent reason other than to keep me inside at night, but ok

Ok so I've been reading Without the Mask by Charlie Bird for 2 hours straight and I've finished the book and it's COVERED with stuff i highlighted and uhm I have some thoughts (all good ones, also sorry if this comes off as an incoerent ramble)
1. Oh my god everyone needs to read this book. Idc if you're religious or lgbtq or neither or WHATEVER, just... Please read it? It's very good
2. This mans writing style is like CANDY, one of my favorite books easily, also Charlie is now one of my favorite humans ever
3. Thank you Miss Therapist for telling me I should read this
4. Grandma, you are the worlds best grandma for buying this book (she didn't give me her copy or anything lol she just heard about it and bought it) and for reading it instead of just watching it collect dust
5. Jesus Christ this man had so much internalized homophobia and religious trauma that he wrote about in this book holy shiiiiiiiii-
6. Jesus made flowers, Flipping Out, and In Spite of it All are genuinely some of the best pieces of literature ever, god were those some good chapters -

At least my old leader is chill- she's literally so nice, like last Sunday she figured out I was trans and this is how the convo went
