My family and I aren’t distant or anything. We just don’t give affection like other families ig. That’s how I see it, anyway.

I think the last time I actually hugged my brother without being forced to so we could make up was when I was either four or five.

My mom tried snuggling with me two weeks ago.
Being hugged like that felt so weird even though the me four or fiveish years ago was used to that. I was just stiff the entire time and really awkward. The only things I snuggle with without feeling any discomfort are plushies, my dog, and despite the chickens not being here now, I used to cuddle them too. -
But she’s my mom. I’ll hug her and apologize, even though I still have zero clue what the f--- I did wrong. Someone please tell me I’m confused.

Listen, the only reason I’ve been going off at her this often is because I’ve been extremely annoyed. During the argument we had a few days ago, my mom said that she was going to give my brother military something like schoolwork because he wasn’t finishing his schoolwork on time. I was fine with that because it wasn’t any of my business.
And THEN THAT b---- SAYS THAT I’M GETTING IT AS WELL. Just “nOt tHaT mUcH anD sHe’lL tRy tO kEeP mE aWAy fRoM iT aS mUcH aS pOsSiBlE.”
