People have an idea of what is "right" and "good" and "fair" and have no idea what standard they hold those ideas to. Cowardice is never admired. But interestingly enough, sacrifice is. Despite the fact that it is NOT self-preservation, sacrifice is admired and we may find ourselves compelled to take such action
