I can't be me though. At least not irl. My mom wants me to be like my sister or even better. She wants me to be perfect and do everything her way. She doesn't like my comedic side and doesn't like when I do the things I'm into. She doesn't even let me follow my future dreams because I apparently can't do anything right. She wants me to be a perfect people pleaser. Irl, all people see me as is the quiet perfect good kid bc I can't show my imperfections or tell my real thoughts. To her eyes, I'm nothing unless I do what she wants and gives her a good image

Tell her to let you be yourself and express your true self. It doesn’t matter what anybody wants you to be. It doesn’t matter what expectations they have.
The only person who gets to expect anything from you is you.
Nobody can take your true self away. No amount of cover ups can ever change you.
Despite what she says, don’t listen to her. You can’t let anybody hold your true self back because you are the sweetest, funniest, most gentle person in the entire universe and I don’t want that being taken away by some Karen who wants their version of a perfect kid.
