Just_Fluffy Newbie1. You have a degree in engineering/science/some other fancy thing that makes a lot of money, but you decide to do talk shows for some reason. You normally charge $15 for an average show, but this time you charge $20 for a talk that's about how you're not in it for the money. You talk about how you've given up your other job opportunities for this job because you like it. You also say that you are mostly doing this because you like it and not for the money. Yet you charge extra this time. Are you being hypocritical because you're talking about how you're not in it for the money or are you justified because this is your only source of income?

Just_Fluffy NewbieIt's about some drama about some people on the internet, but I changed some things so now it's not that specific anymore. I don't really care that much and half want it to be over (but I kind of don't because it's exciting stuff in an otherwise pretty boring community). I'm asking this for people's opinions, mostly.

i guess it doesn't matter. How much profit do they make off each seat? how many seats? are they possibly expecting a kid? going through financial troubles? honestly even if you're not in it for the money and you can still fill the room with higher prices do it.

this is about ww2 and my polish heritage. the french and brits had an alliance with poland where they would all protect each other. when the germans and russians invaded poland france and the uk did nothing until well after poland fell. polish soldiers helped defend the uk and france well after poland was lost.
and yes that includes french class -

yeah that's kind of hypocritical, but it may not be the person spiking the prices and may be their producer or whatever, or maybe they're speaking in a different place and the venue costs more so they gotta cover the costs
my point is, the action isn't inherently bad but it is hypocritical of them
