They seem to always overrestimate AND underrestimate themselves, but never see the truth of it.
Kind of like how I seem to think my artwork is terrible, when really, it's not as bad as I make it out to be.
When you overrestimate yourself when you pick out what you think you are from a bunch of choices, some people either go for the worst, or the best.
Take my thread in Dating for example, I asked what category you fit in when in relationships.
However I asked this on another site, and I got similar results
most people picked what I sought out to be the 'RAREST' choice. No. I asked for the truth not what you wanted to be.
and I was watching the way those people acted on that site also :P THEY ALL LIES TO MEH.
(btw. that site was made by moi, it WAS a real website, but due to inactivity, the webhosts deleted it after no one went on it for three months.) -
And now I turn this into a life lesson:
People with low self esteem, those who call themselves the worst of what they do
People who call themselves the worst singers
People who call themselves the worst artists
The worst musicians, fighters, etc.
Stop it. Who are you to call yourself the worst? You may be the only one allowed to judge yourself but your criteria is terrible. Don't compare yourself to someone who can do better. That person is NOT you.
I'm betting the day people finally stop bashing themselves come, is the day I stop calling myself a terrible artist :P
and people who overexaggerate,
its better to tell the truth, than to look like a boastful idiot who can't live up to their own words. -

Yeah, you're pretty right there. I'm one of those over-exaggeraters though, or at least I can be :P I need to make an effort to stfu.
