Can you all just stop critizing one another. There will always be spammers, there will always be people you don't like. But just leave them be and get on with what you're doing. Just chill.
I'm seeing too much b----iness from the older users. And too much moderator smugness. Its very childish. Moderators should be unbiased and adult. -
Get in your account or no one cares.
-
This was partly directed at you and ironically you're proving my point. You don't speak on behalf of everyone. Stop acting like you're all high and mighty.
-
Lel. I agree with the older user thing, but I'm not so sure about the moderators.
Old users have been acting b----y, and like they're obligated to judge and be smug to everyone. -
nah
-
I don't give a f--- if it was directed at me. You can't say it in your primary account, so it doesn't matter.
-
e_e Novice^when you react like that they have a very good point, it doesn't matter what account they use, theyre still a person
-
If they don't have the guts to accept responsibility for the opinions they have, their opinions are worthless. Much like you, at the moment. I'd be more than happy to address whatever problems anyone has with me in a mature manner if they'd do it to my face instead of hiding like a b----.
-
e_e Novice*sigh* maybe they just don't want an argument, like I don't...
-
It doesn't matter. I could never expect anyone to respect me if I had to hide my name to say what I believe. Why should I care about the opinion of someone who's too scared to deal with the consequences of the things they say?

*eats popcorn*

I'm with Maru on this, someone too scared to state their opinion on their actual account and face the consequences is obviously in no position to be criticising others.

I'm quite sure we're unbiased, not to mention that we've got GTQ Guy watching us and speaking to us on our own forum. He's given us permission to do what we do and he has deleted troll accounts for us when he deems them worthy of it. We aren't purposely targeting people we dislike when we delete posts, and we have made sure to ask the admin BEFORE deleting posts to make sure it's okay and "fair". I have given screenshots of him giving us permission to delete threads in wrong forums until he can enable a forum-moving option. I have explained what our rights are to people and I have always warned people to stop before I mark their posts. We don't delete things to attack people, and if you think that, you're getting us all wrong.
-
On account of spammers and such, I have asked users not to engage contact for two reasons.
1. Posting in a spammer's thread makes it so we cannot delete it. I do not wish to have to delete innocent user(s) posts to be able to delete a spam thread.
2. Replying and/or responding gives them the attention they're looking for. I understand that if we ignore it it won't go away, but it does deprive them of the acknowledgement that they're bothering people.
As for "not liking people", I'd rather like you to cool down on that. I had to ask several users to stop saying they'd like to "kill" someone because they were "annoying" and "stupid". Yes, we all do not like people, and yes, we have to get along. I agree with you on that, however I do believe that people have a right to express their opinions or openly say "I don't believe in what you're saying" or "I dislike how you act" so long as it's not that extreme. -
The trick is..not caring about other people :D
