Thread Topic: A.P. classes vs. Honors.

Today in English our teacher asked what class we wanted for next year. She gave me the option of English 10 honors and A.P. What's the difference?
-
A.P is higher than Honors
-
She placed me in A.P., what is there to expect? More homework? More reports?
-
Possibly.
-
What about credit wise? Do they have more, less, or equal amounts of credits?
-
I think equal.

AP looks better on college transcripts. And will prep you more for it. It's a bit higher and a bit more challenging, but honestly if normal school is boring to you, and you feel like it's slow, AP is the way to go.

^-^ Thank you, guys!

Also, A.P classes are college level classes. For our school, we get double credits for an A.P class, so if the normal class was 1 credit, the A.P class would be 2 credits. But, like I said, since A.P classes are college level classes, they can be pretty hard and stressful. It's a lot of work. I would talk to your English teacher about it, also.

^-^ Okay, thanks.
-
Yep, no problem :)

I'm taking English honors. I can't wait to graduate though. Not much longer....
-
I see. .o.

I'm sorry, at the school that I go to honors is your highest level. So my other post probably sounded really dumb.
