I don't know if you're referring to this. If this is it, then yes, they were being prissy without provocation, but no, I don't see anyone flipping out. Did the "flipping out" take place in other threads, or are you just exaggerating again? -
The thread is from September. That's around the time she was really trying to make it well known that she didn't care about anyone, so that could possibly explain the short temper, or lack of expectation of anything decent from her, that seems to be subliminally inherent in the others.
From a personal perspective, I think the last sentence is what bothered people. There are dozens of ways that sentence could have ended, but ALWAYS having to tie it back to sexuality wears thin. -
Then again it's 1:37 AM and I've been watching Sherlock for a few hours. I may be over-thinking it, but I'm not sure.

He's got a point. I'm passionate about feminism and my sexuality as well, but there are other aspects of who I am. You really only repeat what you've read off of tumblr now, and while some of it is important, it's just a combination of everyone you know. It's consumed you, it seems, and it would be in your best interests to find other things to be passionate about as well. You should work to have more rounded interests.
You could start with this webcomic I think you'd like. It's called Strong Female Protagonist, and it's about a superhero with a strong sense of social justice. It shouldn't take you too long to read, but it might give you something else to discuss. -
