Thread Topic: Parents won't let me collect coins

Ok so I'm 17, I have a job at Kmart and I only make $320 a month month because I only work weekends (I put about half of my check into my savings every week so saving up for college is no problem) . I recently bought $130 worth of silver coins from the website JM Bullion, with MY OWN money I should add. I've always loved collecting and I thought that I should collect silver coins because of the investment potential also. But my parents yelled at me for spending that much money on it and called my coins fake, stupid, and a waste of money and told me that if I bought more they were going to throw them away. They're being f---ing dumbasses what should I do?

Kill them. All of them.
Or you could earn more money. -
I seriously don't get what offends them so much about me buying coins.
-
These coins have investment and collectors value. I could probably sell them to someone for as much as I bought them right now.
-
Tell them it's a secure investments, silver prices don't drop really ever.
-
Right now is the PERFECT time to buy silver also. It fell to $18.40 an once today!!! When it was just $19 a couple days ago. Seriously I can't wait until they come crawling back to me when I cash all this s--- out.

your parents are nuts XD certifiably.
-
Their words exactly were " just because you work for it and its your money doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it"
-
Why collect coins when you can collect pokemon instead? :D
