You have no idea how much I want to call you and listen to your voice as you comfort me while I sob over the phone. But that would mean you'd hear me cry, you'd see me at my most vulnerable. See, I promised myself I would always do whatever I could to protect you. To cry is not to be strong, and if I am going to protect you I must be strong. But sometimes I just want someone to hug me and tell that I can be weak just this once.

Just let your barriers down this once, Lueh. Let yourself cry, be what you call weak. Crying doesn't mean you're weak. It means you've been strong for to long.

I don't know exactly what you're going through, but you're only human. It's okay to feel weak and have these emotions. You're wonderful and don't have to be perfect. Don't be down on yourself because you're not always strong.
