Some people I know have better things to do than talk to me (or better people to conversate with)
I can have a few laughs or an okay conversation for a few minutes before they turn around and talk to someone else. I will call these my aquaintances.
Some people will talk to me whenever I need it. Our conversations can go on for what seems like forever. I will call these my friends.
The depressing part? After stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, I found out of the many friends I thought I had at school, only five of them were what I would call my friends.
I feel like a loser. -

I don't know who you are, but from what I've seen, it's only because many people today like being deceptive and treacherous and back-stabbing. You seem too pure for them to handle. Many people have turned that way, sadly. Only a hand-ful of people have stayed pure.

I'll never turn my back on a
comradefriend. I'm also pretty easy to be friends with, as long as you don't straightforward insult me, and I also tend to not talk enough.
It makes me sad that this isn't normal. -

I only have two, lol. They often leave me after a little while to go chill with their other friends, but it's better than nothing I guess.
But I have an awesome boyfriend who can talk with m for hours so yeah :P all is good. -
bree912 Newbiehehe honestly i have only 3 best friends and lol we usually ostrisize other people from our little group because of our very crude humor.but if i were to count all the people i consider aquatinces that would be wayyyyyy too many to count... but then again i may friends quite quickly and im the one who leaves when they get too clingy. just act like you dont need them n you probably get more friends

...All of my real friends are over the internet. I have one in real life friend I think has the potential to be closer to me than anyone else (a 'friend', if we're foing by your standards) but we don't see each other often. I have a few people I call my friends, but in the end I'm just not that comfortable with them.
So yeah, I feel your pain.
