OH btw
you said that it is offensive to say "Crying is a sin"
well
Self-pity crying is a sin, if you cry because you have good cause that is not a sin but say your Mum has locked you in your room and has taken all your electronics and you sit on your bed and cry because of that, THAT is a sin!!! -
Horses, I think its best to stop posting things about religious things everyone has different beliefs.
-
Maybe......
-
Horse, please think before posting. I, and I'm sure others, find some of what you've been posting very offensive. So stop.
-
The physical act isn't a sin. That's not actually the child's fault for being that way, the parents raised them that way.
Please tell me what you would label as a real reason for crying, I'm just interested in your thoughts on this? -
I am sorry Lucky but that I what I believe!
Banana, what do you mean?
If the kid has done something wong and the mum then locks her/him up..... And so forth then the kid vets from self pity..that is wrong...
It may just be me but I cannot understand your question BBQ could you reword it? -
I'm saying that the kid who is crying over being locked in their room w/o electronics, is crying because the parents raised that kid to be a whiney brat.
I'm asking you what would be an acceptable reason to cry for. -
Is it okay to cry when I'm depressed about my life and the way I look, and frustrated with school?
-
I am sorry but THAT I don't know @wolf heart!
But I have heard a saying
"IF it doubtful, it's dirty" And I think that goes well with my faith because if you do not know if it is right or not it is best you do not do it :) -
UnLoving NewbieI have to disagree with you on his one, horses
I think this is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard, sorry to say
Verse??
Especially because when the kid starts crying thy are really crying because they're angry with themselves for messing up and cry out of frustration because they're unsure how to fix their mess. They convince themselves that it's pity because of their pride.
Plus crying is a natural thing. It's /good/ for you to let the tears out. -
UnLoving Newbie@carri -
Well that is part of my religion/beliefs - believe non-believers go to hell.
I suppose you can "believe" other religions are hateful, but I wouldn't just walk up to someone and tell them that their religion is hateful. As well as I would not walk up to a non-believer and directly tell him that he is going to hell. But if he asked me if I believe that I would because well obviously because that would be lying.
Wow you are so awesome to talk to! ^-^ You are capable of acting discussing things decently! Unlike some people on here...-.-
Oh...thanks...but I'm not ~
Anyway yeah cool I've seen a bit of your work; it is really amazing! I think you're like the most talented artist I've ever met! ("Met" because you know movie animator a and stuff) But yeah I'll have to check out the workshop -
@UnLving
I know it is a bit weird! (about crying)
it's the one a am not to sure of LOL -
UnLoving NewbieYeah it doesn't really seem valid
But if you find more info on it, I'd be happy to hear about it -
If you ask me we all should never aurgue about religions.
-
Arguing transfers knowledge and causes discoveries and information sharing between two people of different viewpoints.
I personally feel that denying an argument or refusing to think logically during an argument is more offensive than arguing in the first place.
