America claims to be a Free nation, and yet out of all of the major super power 1st world nations, America seems to have the most amount of laws telling you what you're not allowed to do...
Just a thought. -
Glad I'm not the only one who realizes that.

The way our country works, you can basically get away with anything so long as you call yourself a businessman. As long as there is money on the line, the government will let you be. Police force exists as a way to keep the have-nots in their place.

Yeah. The free country isn't such a free country. Given, the laws are good laws (ex. 13th amendment, Civil Rights Bill, no drugs or under age drinking, the Bill of Rights, etc.) it's still kind of ironic. I mean, the country probably got it's 'free country' and 'land of the free' nicknames when the US first became the US, because it probably was the free country back then. I mean, in the time period when the 13 Colonies became the USA.

Basically that idea came about because the government told people they were free, and they believed it.

Total Ponage NewbieThis is a free country! You have a freedom of speech, religion, a right to bear arms, rights to assemble, heck, we have so many rights I can't think of them all!

Total Ponage NewbieWe have many rights, so stop pretending like we don't have any. We just have to work hard to keep them.
